About
Hazing is any activity expected of someone joining or participating in a group that humiliates, degrades, abuses, or endangers them—regardless of their willingness to participate. The UAB administration is unconditionally opposed to any situation created to produce mental and/or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment or ridicule. Hazing is a crime under Alabama law and University policy. UAB prohibits hazing, in any form, against any member of the campus community.
