CRRT Academy Objective
To provide medical professionals (RN, MD, Pharmacist) with the knowledge and understanding for decision making for the effective utilization of Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and to allow them to practice key management strategies using hands-on workshops and simulation.
The UAB CRRT Academy was founded by Dr. Ashita Tolwani and has been an annual event since 2007 and it is a two-and-a-half-day international conference with attendees coming from all over the United States as well as from overseas. In addition to lectures, we have hands-on workshops, simulations, and problem-solving sessions to allow an in-depth understanding of CRRT.

Travel Support Scholarship
ASN will provide support for travel awards ($1,000 each) for a total of 10 fellows to attend the 2025 UAB CRRT Academy. If you would like to apply for a 2025 travel grant, the application form is available at this link.
In the application, you will need to provide a letter of recommendation from your department head. You can apply from June 2, 2025 - June 21, 2025.
CRRT Academy Abstract Submission
Abstracts must be received no later than July 31, 2025.
