The UAB Heersink School of Medicine Division of Continuing Medical Education offers seminars, workshops, and mini-courses to encourage and facilitate continuing professional growth of physicians and other health professionals. 

In Huntsville, continuing medical education is limited to a Grand Rounds series with topics covering a variety of medical specialties but the presentations focus on the needs of primary care physicians. Grand Rounds are open to the HRMC and volunteer faculty. Non-UAB attendees must pay a $10 fee. To receive monthly flyers for Grand Rounds, call 256-551-4452 and ask to be put on the email distribution list.

Grand Rounds in Huntsville are accredited for Category 1 of the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.
