After-Hours Emergency Line

This number is for after-hours emergencies involving perishable items or urgent packages that cannot wait until regular business hours. The line is not monitored during normal business hours.

Warehouse Deliveries

The Shipping and Receiving Warehouse accepts freight deliveries and provides shipping services for university departments. The information below outlines delivery hours, dock access, and shipping requirements.

Delivery Information

Delivery Hours

  • Freight deliveries are accepted Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Deliveries cannot be accepted after 3:30 p.m.

Loading Docks

  • The warehouse has four loading docks.
  • The docks can accommodate all sizes of tractor-trailers.

Special Delivery Instructions

  • Paper orders purchased through vendors such as Staples, Amazon, or Office Depot must be delivered directly to the ordering department.
  • USPS does not deliver to the 10th Street Warehouse.

Shipping Requirements

  • To process shipments through UPS, departments must complete the UPS shipping request form .
  • Packages must be properly packed before a shipping label can be generated.

Perishable Deliveries

The warehouse has storage available for temperature-sensitive items, including:

  • Refrigerators
  • -20°C freezers
  • -80°C freezers

Package Delivery Records Retention

Beginning March 10, 2026, Shipping and Receiving will retain package delivery records for one year from the date a package is received.

University departments, faculty, and staff have up to one year from the delivery date to contact Shipping and Receiving with questions or to resolve delivery issues.

After one year:

  • Delivery records will no longer be retained.
  • Shipping and Receiving will no longer be able to research or resolve package inquiries.
