The promoters of Wellness peer education program trains student leaders to empower, educate, and support their peers to make healthy choices as they navigate life outside the classroom.

Students can become a Promoter of Wellness peer educator by enrolling in CHHS 426/526 as a general elective or by registering for the Certified Peer Health Advocate (CPHA) training series. CHHS 426/526 is a 3 credit- hour service-learning course and is eligible for Honors credit. CPHA is a 4 workshop training series that students can participate in outside of class. Once either training options are completed, students can apply for volunteer or paid positions with Wellness Promotion.
