Primary Care Week Festivities
Monday, October 6: Kickoff to Primary Care Week & Primary Care Research Day
Where: ALGEN Lobby, Altec/Styslinger Genomic Medicine & Data Sciences Building, 701 19th Street South
When: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. - Lunch Provided!
Start your week learning about the primary care research being done within the School of Medicine. Research Day will include both Lightning Talks and a Poster Session. Open to students, residents, faculty, and staff to highlight research opportunities across all levels.

Plus, be sure to meet Chip Tucker, DMD, East Central Alabama AHEC Scholars Coordinator, to learn more about becoming an AHEC Scholar. The AHEC Scholars Program is designed to help you gain hands-on experiences, heighten interprofessional teamwork skills, support community needs, and participate in career boosting opportunities that set you apart as a future health professional.
