Our Clinical Operations Team: Lauryn Schultz, Dr. Elizabeth Turnipseed, Libby Bollier, Erin Snow, and Mary Coleman Dobbins.
The Department is delighted to announce a new liaison who will work with our clinical leadership team. Libby Bollier, MSHA, will serve as Inpatient Medical Services Manager with UAB Medicine to coordinate clinical operations and workflow between UAB Hospital and the Department of Medicine. This new role is designed to enhance our collaboration and streamline logistics in providing excellent care for our patients.

The Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) has officially notified our UAB Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Program of their accreditation. Donna Salzman, MD (Professor, Hematology and Oncology) is Interim Director of the BMT/CT program which involves 300 people across many different disciplines: medicine, nursing, pathology, apheresis, data, and research. We are delighted to celebrate their exemplary performance in quality, patient care and research!
