The James A. Pittman, Jr., M.D., Scholars Program in the Heersink School of Medicine provides promising junior investigators with funding to support their research-related activities and scholarly enrichment. Faculty members should be full-time, research-focused Assistant Professors in the Heersink School of Medicine within the first five years of their initial appointment at this rank. Submissions are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10.

Dr. Latesha E. Elopre HEAL Focus Area Pilot Grant Program

Up to four $50,000 grants are available through the Dr. Latesha E. Elopre Health Across the Lifecourse Pilot Program, which supports projects focused on chronic disease, health systems, global health, rural health, and women’s health across the lifespan. Letters of intent are due by midnight Monday, Nov. 3.
