The Adaptive Human Performance Lab is seeking applicants to be Exercise Research Interns for a semester-long internship. Good candidates will be highly motivated and eager to learn about the entire research process, from recruitment to testing and data collection.
This internship can be used for class credit in certain circumstances depending on guidelines of class. Interns will be involved in multiple research projects, which can assist in gaining experience for future job opportunities. If interested in continuing to be an intern at the end of the semester, students may be eligible to continue during the following semester.

Responsibilities
- Lab trainings
- Blood draws (optional)
- Lab maintenance and care
- Assisting with data collections
- Writing your own abstract over the course of the semester to submit and present
Expectation
- 10-15 hours per week
Requirements
Undergraduate or master’s student at UAB or Samford interested in any aspect of disability health sciences, junior or senior preferred.
