An intensive exploration across a range of disciplines, the BFA program of study at UAB prepares students to pursue careers as artists and designers or continue to graduate school.

Four workshops this spring will discuss academic integrity concerns, share the experiences of teaching faculty, reimagine learning with AI, and offer help redesigning assignments or entire courses. Presenter Meagan Malone, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of English, explains how her classroom approach has changed since the first days of generative AI in this article.

More than 862 students will walk in two graduation ceremonies Dec. 13 at Bartow Arena, and 178 doctoral candidates will be recognized in a separate ceremony Dec.
