We’re looking for children ages 8–10 with reading disorders (like dyslexia) and their caregivers to join a research study. The study tests Engage — a fun video game designed to improve focus and reading skills — all from home using Zoom.

What’s involved:

  • 30 short game sessions over 6–8 weeks (about 15 hours total)
  • Surveys for caregivers before and after the program
  • Possible virtual focus group

What you get:

  • All equipment provided if needed
  • $25 for baseline assessments
  • $50 after finishing the program
  • $25 if chosen for a focus group

This study is run by Dr. Caroline Richter at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the Department of Psychology.
