Interested in pursuing a career change to nursing but already have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in a non-nursing field?

The Accelerated Masters in Nursing Pathway allows you to become eligible to apply to sit for the National Certification Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) in just three semesters, all while completing your master’s degree.

To help you get a better understanding of the UAB School of Nursing and to learn more about this innovative option, register to attend one of our information sessions. We offer both virtual and in-person sessions:

• In-Person Information Session: A special session will be held on April 28, 2025, from 5 to 6:30 PM CST at the UAB School of Nursing, providing an opportunity to meet faculty and staff in person and tour our facilities.
• Virtual Information Session: Held each Wednesday from 12 to 1 PM CST, where you can interact and ask questions with our faculty and staff.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the virtual meeting or attending the in-person session.
