The University of Alabama at Birmingham community is invited to come together and give back to Birmingham through service at the annual UAB Unite Day.

Join students, alumni, staff and faculty at Glen Iris Elementary School on Saturday, May 10, for this annual service tradition sponsored by the UAB National Alumni Society.

Volunteers will work on indoor and outdoor projects at the school that include general cleanup, painting, yardwork and more.

Supplies will be provided, but volunteers are invited to bring their own tools for the projects. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteers. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 8 a.m. at the school, 1115 11th St. South, to receive instructions on the day’s tasks. The workday will wrap up at noon.
