Bio
Alex Mullen, M.D., was born in Princeton, NJ, and grew up in Oxford, MS. He met his wife, fellow UAB radiology resident Cathy Chen, in preschool. Outside the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his family (including Cathy, daughter, and two pups), hiking the hills around Birmingham, bingewatching sitcoms, and perfecting his smashburger technique.
