rahman

Teebro Rahman, M.D., PGY2, was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh, before moving to Columbia, South Carolina. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina and medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Greenville.

Get to know Dr. Rahman better with three quick questions!

Why did you pursue a career in this field?

Rahman: I can’t think of another specialty where you get to interact with so many different fields in medicine, from pediatrics to neurosurgery and everything in between. It’s such a blessing to get to do so much for your colleagues and your patients!

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

Rahman: I love reading fantasy books (currently making my way through “Dungeon Crawler Carl and The Stormlight Archive”), and my partner and I try to cook a new dish from the New York Times every single week.

What is your favorite holiday, and why?

Rahman: I love Thanksgiving more than anything. Growing up, my favorite plate consisted of mac and cheese and tandoori turkey. Plus, I’m a sucker for a good deal, so Black Friday afterwards was always a blast and a half.
