Chibuzo Ilonze, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, was selected to serve on the Subboard of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology of the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
He will serve a six-year term beginning January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2031.

Each subboard of the ABP work with test development staff to develop examination questions as subject matter experts, establish passing standards and conduct form review.

“As a member of the Subboard of Pediatric Hematology Oncology, I will work with the ABP to develop comprehensive, fair, reliable, and valid assessments for the initial certifying, MOC, MOCA-Peds, and SITE examinations,” said Ilonze.
