Eight members of the Department of Microbiology were recently recognized for 20-plus years of service to UAB at a Service Awards reception on April 8, 2025.
John F. Kearney, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor and Endowed Professor in Immunology, was recognized at the reception for the longest length of service among all awardees throughout the institution, celebrating 50 years at UAB in 2025. Read more about Dr. Kearney’s career at UAB.
