The conference brings together thousands of health leaders and practitioners at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

The conference fosters high-quality scientific exchange, showcasing current research and critical thinking in health and biomedical informatics. It also offers opportunities for national and international communities to engage in formal meetings and social networking.

The theme of MedInfo 2025 is “Healthcare Smart and Medicine Deep,” focusing on how advancements in biomedical informatics and artificial intelligence can drive meaningful change in healthcare systems and outcomes worldwide.

Cimino’s keynote presentation is titled “Artificial Intelligence as a Catalyst for Global Health Equity and Learning Health Systems.” He will also participate in a plenary panel discussion on the topic “Informatics Across the Global IMIA Regions: Trends and Developments.”

This year’s event will explore how AI technologies can be leveraged to enhance and streamline hospital operations, advancing the concept of the digital health hospital. Topics are expected to include AI-driven diagnostic tools, automated administrative processes, smart patient care systems, and the integration of AI into all facets of hospital management.

MedInfo 2025 will take place from August 10 to 13 in Taiwan, a global hub for AI innovation and semiconductor manufacturing. Taiwan is also home to some of the most influential figures in technology, whose contributions have played a pivotal role in advancing AI applications within the healthcare sector.
