I am a marine molecular ecologist whose work has been focused on population genetics and evolutionary biology of habitat-forming species, particularly macroalgae and seagrass species.

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Amsler Lab at UAB and the AlgEE Lab at VIMS ESL. My research focuses on the evolutionary ecology of Antarctic macroalgae, where I aim to characterize the genetic diversity and reproductive biology of key macroalgal species along the Western Antarctic Peninsula using molecular and bioinformatic approaches.
